Saturday & Sunday Brunch in Krakow: Where to Go

Weekend brunch has conquered Krakow — here are the best tables.

The weekend brunch phenomenon arrived in Krakow around 2015 and has since become a defining ritual of the city's food culture. Saturday and Sunday mornings, the cafes and bistros of Kazimierz and the Old Town fill with friends, couples, and families lingering over elaborate morning meals.

Charlotte leads the pack with a French-Polish breakfast spread that includes fresh sourdough, cultured butter, artisan preserves, charcuterie, eggs any style, and a rotating pastry selection. The wait on Sundays can reach 30 minutes — arrive before 10 AM or go after 1 PM.

Moment Cafe in Kazimierz does a contemporary brunch menu — shakshuka, eggs Benedict with Polish twists, granola bowls, and fresh juices. The bright, window-filled space is cheerful even on gray mornings.

Nolio on Sw. Sebastiana brings Mediterranean brunch energy with halloumi plates, shakshuka, and the best fresh-squeezed juice menu in the city. Their weekend terrace is one of the happiest places in Krakow.

Kogel Mogel specializes in Polish-style breakfast and brunch — scrambled eggs with smoked oscypek, potato pancakes with smoked salmon and sour cream, and the traditional egg-sugar drink that gives the restaurant its name.

Budget brunch: Wesola Cafe near the Botanical Garden does excellent coffee and brunch plates at neighborhood (not tourist) prices.
