DAY 4 — DAY TRIP: AUSCHWITZ OR THE MOUNTAINS

Option B — Zakopane & the Tatras: Poland's mountain resort town, 100 km south. Take the bus (2 hours) for hiking, cable car rides, highland culture, and grilled oscypek. In winter, skiing and thermal baths.
Option C — Ojcow National Park: just 16 km north, perfect for a half-day of gentle hiking through limestone valleys, caves, and castle ruins. Return to Krakow for an afternoon at the Czartoryski Museum.
DAY 5 — DEEPER KRAKOW
